The Odd Job Man

Services for Landlords

I work for a number of landlords with properties in the Wokingham and Reading area. Sometimes the landlords themselves are based locally, sometimes not. On one occasion, I worked with a landlord who was in Australia at the time. We liaised by email - I sent him photos every evening of the work I had got done that day, he replied with comments and feedback by the next morning - modern technology working at its best!

Here's what he had to say about the project: "If you're working away and want to get work done, from painting, having furniture delivered and fitted, appliances plumbed in, gardening and so on and so on, I can strongly recommend the Odd Job Man.
You have proven to be 100% dependable, flexible and reliable. The house will be ready to go on the lettings market tomorrow, completely refreshed and furnished, only 10 days after getting the keys. The feedback I have on your work is all positive - a very reliable and flexible Rolls Royce service."

Most frequently I'm called in to give a property a quick "makeover" between tennants, or to solve minor maintenance problems while tennants are in situ.

Where a quick "makeover" between tennants is required, I am happy to work to your brief, or alternatively to visit the property, list all the items that I feel are in need of attention, and then work with you to prioritise these, allowing us to get the most important ones done first when limited time is available.

If work is required in specialist areas beyond my capabilities (e.g. boiler repairs, plastering), I can coordinate a team of specialist tradesmen to complete the work on your behalf, so you only have one point of contact to worry about - me. I only work with people I know and trust, and who I believe will do a good quality job.

As you can see in more detail elsewhere on my web site, I am fully insured, and police checked, so you can have complete peace of mind when it comes to entrusting the keys to your property with me.
